Child Crisis Center of El Paso in the running for $25,000, Needs your help

The Child Crisis Center of El Paso needs your help in order to receive a $25,000 grant.

The center is one of the 200 finalists in the State Farm neighborhood assists contest.

The top 40 finalists will receive $25,000.

The non-profit helps children who have been victims of abuse and neglect.

CEO of the child crisis center, Lorranie Gomez, says the money will help pay for their shelter staff and continue to provide services for the children.

“Remember these children don’t choose to be here they’re here for different reasons while they’re here we try to promote a safe haven for them make sure they feel comfortable while they are with us,” Gomez said.
