Arrest warrant issued for Anthony stabbing suspect; reward offered

Doña Ana County Sheriff’s detectives have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection to a stabbing in Anthony over the weekend.

Ezequiel Gonzales, 25, is wanted for the stabbing of a 23 year-old man attending a large gathering at a residence in the 800 block of Golf Course Road sometime after 1 A.M. Saturday, August 25th.

Witnesses told detectives they saw a gray four-door drive up to the residence, at which point two men exited the vehicle. An argument allegedly broke out between one of the men and the victim, eventually escalating into a physical confrontation. According to witnesses, Gonzales got involved at this point, leading to the victim’s stabbing.
