EPPD: Group was riding in stolen car with meth, pot and a gun

Investigators with the police department’s Narcotics Unit arrested and charged four people after they were allegedly caught with drugs, a gun and a stolen car.

The investigators, conducting an ongoing investigation, spotted the four suspects in a silver 1998 Ford Mustang. Luis Isaac Carrillo, 28, was allegedly driving the stolen Mustang just before 1 p.m. on the 800 block of N. Carolina when he was pulled over.

During the traffic stop, police allegedly recovered 103.3 grams of Marijuana, 20.6 grams of Methamphetamine and a gun inside the Mustang.

Carrillo is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana. Carrillo also had several outstanding traffic warrants, police said. He was jailed on bonds totaling $8,649.

Alejandro Martin Saenz, 43, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth). Saenz was the subject of 12 municipal warrants, police said. No bond amount was listed for Saenz.

Jesus Alberto Torres, 18, was charged with “Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon on Alcohol Premise” and Possession of Marijuana. Torres was jailed on bonds totaling $5,300.

Monique Perez, 27, was charged with Manufacture and Delivery (Meth) and Possession of Marijuana. She was jailed on bonds totaling $30,750.
