Best and worst states for teachers ranked by financial website
Texas and New Mexico didn’t make it among the top 10 best states for teachers in America, according to research by wallethub.com
The financial website ranked Texas at No. 19. New Mexico was among the worst at No. 41.
Researchers studied data from all 50 states and Washington, D.C. They looked into teacher salaries, income growth potential, competition, quality of school systems, and even safety to come up with the list.
