One person shot and stabbed in west El paso
El Paso police say a fight at a west El Paso apartment complex led to one person being shot and then stabbed.
It happened Saturday afternoon shortly before 3 p.m. at the Colores Del Sol Apartments.
The apartment complex is located at 7133 N. Mesa.
Police say officers were responding to a call about a fight at the apartment complex.
When officers arrived they found the victim had a gunshot wound and that the victim had also been stabbed.
Police say the victim’s injuries are non-life threatening and that a suspect has been taken into custody.
The identities of the suspect and the victim have not been released at this time.
