Southwest Airlines adds flights to California from El Paso
Good news for El Pasoans who frequently travel to California.
Southwest Airlines said it will start nonstop service to San Jose on Jan. 9, 2019, instead of April 2019 as originally planned.
The airline will also increase nonstop service to San Diego.
It will go from one flight on Sundays to daily flights and two flights on Sunday, also starting in January.
In a news release, the director of aviation said this move helps grow the “core business of air transportation” in El Paso.
