Report: Las Cruces is one of the worst cities to look for a new job
El Paso and Las Cruces don’t appear to be the best cities to look for a new job, according to a new survey of job-related data.
Financial website WalletHub.com compared 182 U.S. cities — 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — across 30 key indicators of job-market strength. They range from job opportunities to employment growth to monthly average starting salary.
The data show that El Paso ranks 133 on its list — and Las Cruces is at 181.
Experts told WalletHub that they anticipate strong continued growth in the cybersecurity and healthcare fields.
