Four Cowboys named AP All-Pro selections

Cowboys right guard Zack Martin was named to the AP All-Pro first team Friday, while three other Cowboys were recognized as second-team selections.

Martin has now been named to the All-Pro team in each of his five seasons in the NFL.

Running back Ezekiel Elliott was a second-team member after rushing for 1,434 yards during the regular season.

This is Elliott’s second AP All-Pro selection after he was named to the first team in 2016.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys also had two first-time All-Pro selections. Cornerback Byron Jones and linebacker Leighton Vander Esch were selected to the All-Pro second team.

Jones led the team with 15 pass break-ups and added 76 tackles. Vander Esch, who was chosen in this year’s draft with the 19th overall pick, recorded 140 tackles, good for third in the NFL.

The Cowboys will meet the Seattle Seahawks Saturday night in the NFC Wild Card Round.
