New midfielder joins El Paso Locomotive FC
In less than two months, El Paso’s newest professional soccer team will officially kick off play.
But El Paso Locomotive Football Club is still finalizing the roster — in fact, the team welcomed midfielder Richie Ryan on Thursday.
Ryan has 15 years of pro experience and spent time in the premier league with FC Cincinnati.
The signing comes days before tickets for individual games go on sale.
The box office at Southwest University Park opens Saturday, Jan. 19 at 10 A.M.
Tickets will also be available on the team’s website.
“People have been absolutely excited to buy individual tickets for our matches, once we got our full season schedule solidified with dates and times and opponents,” said Andrew Forrest, the Locomotive Business Operations General Manager. “On Saturday, we’ll finally have the opportunity for all those people to purchase their tickets to either the home opener or any other game that we have throughout the year.”
First match is at the ballpark on March 9.
