El Paso MS-13 Gang Member Added to Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added an El Paso member of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang to its Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list.
DPS is now offering a $7,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of 34-year-old Rodrigo Flores, wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault of a family/household member.
Investigators said Flores was born in El Paso and still has ties to the area. His criminal history includes a 2012 conviction of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in El Paso. Flores, who received a five-year sentence in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) prison, has also served time in federal prison for drug offenses.
Flores is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds . Flores has numerous tattoos on his face, back, chest, neck, hands, arms and legs, as well as a scar on his right forearm. Flores may be known by the nicknames of ” Scrappy ” and ” Rigo . ”
To be eligible for the cash rewards, tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the three following methods:
– Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
– Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
– Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the ” SUBMIT A TIP ” link (under the ” About ” section).
All tips are anonymous, regardless of how they are submitted. DPS said tipsters will be provided a tip number instead of using a name.
