Deputies investigating deadly ATV wreck in Montana Vista

Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a deadly wreck involving an All-Terrain Vehicle.

A neighborhood resident who witnessed the wreck told ABC-7 the man riding the ATV died after crashing into a rock wall on the 3600 block of Whitetail Deer near Bull Elk.

The witness said the man’s head was crushed and deputies who arrived at the scene covered the man’s body with white sheets.

The witness said the man was riding the ATV on Whitetail Deer when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the wall. The wreck was reported at about Noon Friday.
