EPPD: Possible armed intruder shot by resident in the Lower Valley
Police officers were called out to the Lower Valley for reports of a shooting Monday night.
It happened on the 600 block of Rose Kennedy Drive. That’s not far from the Zaragoza international bridge. It was first reported at 11 p.m.
Authorities said they found out through their preliminary investigation that a resident shot a possible armed intruder.
One man was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound, according to police. He’s expected to survive.
