San Eli arrives home as back to back state soccer champions!
The fire department sprayed a triumphant stream of water from their hoses today as the bus passed under.
The San Elizario Eagles returned to campus to a victory celebration waiting for them.
Family, friends and fellow students were all there to welcome the team home.
People held theirs arms up and pressed them infront of others as the players ran under.
Fans went wild when Coach Sappenfield exited the bus.
The band played and signs were proudly held honoring the star athletes.
Coach Crawford said of his team, “My kids are risilient. They fight hard. Man, they gave it their all.”
