Horizon City: Ruben Mendoza elected mayor; Charlie Ortega wins alderman seat

Voters in the town of Horizon City will elect a mayor and three aldermen Saturday.

Mayor:

Ruben Mendoza 233 votes (54%) Adrian Rivera 201 votes (46%)

Alderman Place No. 3:

Silas Baca 112 votes (26%) Charlie Ortega 319 votes (74%)

Alderman Place No. 5:

Johnny “Doc” Duran 353 votes

Alderman Place No. 7:

Samantha S. Corral 346 votes
