Police: Men stole credit cards after breaking into cars parked outside gym

Police in Las Cruces are asking for the public’s help identifying two men suspected of using stolen credit cards at a Las Cruces Walmart store.

Investigators believe the credit cards were stolen during auto burglaries that occurred at about 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25th in the parking lot of Planet Fitness at 1100 N. Telshor.

Shortly thereafter, the two men were seen on surveillance cameras using the stolen credit cards at the Walmart store on Rinconada Boulevard, police said.

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information that helps identify the two men.

Anyone with information that can help identify either one or both of the suspects is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Tips can also be provided through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app, “P3 TIPS.” The app is available through the App Store on most devices.

Those who provide tips through Crime Stoppers do not have to leave their own name and will remain completely anonymous.
