UTEP Men’s Basketball release upcoming season’s schedule

The Miners open the season with 5 home games.

The second of which is against their I-10 rivals the NMSU Aggies on November 12th.

UTEP will be competing in the 58th annual Weststar Bank Don Haskins Sun Bowl Invitational at the Don which will take place December 16th and 17th.

December 29th they take a trip to Houston to face the Cougars who went 33-4 in 2019. Their last lost was when they were defeated in the NCAA Tournament against Kentucky.

A week later the team heads to Washington to take on another NCAA powerhouse in the Diamond Head Classic December 22 and 23rd.

The Miners will begin division play January 2nd when they take on FIU.

Coach said Terry said about the schedule, “When you’re putting together a schedule you want it to be challenging, and it is.”
