El Pasoan becomes millionaire after anonymously claiming Powerball prize
EL PASO, Texas -- A lucky El Pasoan has claimed a million-dollar Powerball prize.
That winning ticket was sold for last Saturday’s Powerball drawing, Texas Lotto officials said.
The ticket was purchased at the Big Savers Market at 3630 Alameda in south central El Paso.
The winner wanted to remain anonymous when they claimed the money, which is allowed in Texas.
Lottery officials said the El Pasoan holding that ticket used the quick pick option to randomly select the winning numbers.
