Riverside High football player has own graduation ceremony in living room due to virus pandemic
EL PASO, Texas -- Monica Escobedo held a graduation ceremony for her son Aaron Adams in the living room of their home.
Adams is a senior at Riverside High School and was a member of the football team.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, there is uncertainty whether there will be a graduation ceremony for high school seniors at the end of the school year.
Escobedo wanted to get a feel of what it would look like to see her son walk across the stage.
Adams put on his cap and gown and had his name called out by his sister.
It was a moment that both mother and son hope they will get to relive again come June.
