StormTRACK Weather: Cold front brings strong winds and a temporary cooldown

The ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather team lifted the ABC-7 First Alert. A strong cold front moved into the borderland early Friday morning bringing hazy skies and areas of blowing dust. Winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts over 50 mph are likely through noon, especially along west slopes of the Franklin and Organ mountains. Winds will continue around 35 mph Friday afternoon with temperatures warming back up this weekend. Rain chances will increase Mother's Day into Monday.
