Drier air has worked its way into the region dropping rain chances Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures will be a few degrees cooler today but we will see triple digits return by Thursday.

I'm also keeping an eye on the tropics as Hurricane Laura is forecast to move northwest over the next several days and looks to have a major impact on the Texas/Louisiana coast midweek as well as inland areas after landfall.

Tropical Storm Marco has weakened considerably over the past 18 hours from a hurricane to a tropical storm with winds near 50 mph this morning.
