4th annual El Paso Giving Day underway
EL PASO, Texas -- The fourth annual El Paso Giving Day by the Paso del Norte Community Foundation and Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare is underway, and organizers say it "is on track to be the biggest one yet."
El Paso Giving Day is an online fundraiser for hundreds of local non-profit organizations. Nearly 200 organizations participate.
This year, donations made through the El Paso Giving Day website between Nov. 7 and Nov. 14 will be matched by Walmart, up to a maximum of $1 million.
Donations can be made by visiting ElPasoGivingDay.org.
Since its start in 2016, El Paso Giving Day has raised approximately $700,000 to benefit non-profit groups throughout the community.
