El Paso man arrested in double stabbing that killed a man, critically injured a woman

EL PASO, Texas -- Police have arrested the man who allegedly stabbed a man and woman at an apartment complex in East El Paso.

Officers were called to the scene at 3650 George Dieter just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

31-year-old Adrian Delgado is charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police said he killed 34-year-old Robert Ventura and critically injured 28-year-old Stephanie Marie Ochoa.

In addition to those charges, Delgado also booked on three outstanding traffic warrants. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under bonds totaling $1,750,709.

There's no word yet on what led up to the stabbing.
