2 new virus deaths reported; 35% of eligible El Pasoans now vaccinated
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Department of Public Health announced two new coronavirus-related deaths and 137 new cases Thursday morning.
El Paso County's pandemic death toll now stands at 2,506.
El Paso health department data shows that 35.5% of El Pasoans over the age of 16 are now fully vaccinated, with 57% having received at least one shot.
The number of known active cases now stands at 2,518.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 133,037 confirmed cases in El Paso with 127,883 reported recoveries.
