Police search for missing El Paso man who suffers from dementia

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Police Department issued a silver alert Wednesday morning for a missing man who suffers from dementia.

Police said 59-year-old Nelson Valenzuela went missing from a foster home he was staying at Tuesday evening.

Police said Valenzuela has a cognitive communication deficit.

He was last seen wearing a maroon athletic sweatshirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. He is six-feet tall and weighs 190 lbs.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 832-4400 or if immediate response is needed, dial 911.
