ABC-7 First Alert: Heatwave to hit the borderland this week
An ABC-7 First Alert is in effect for the first heatwave of the season. There's not much of a change in the forecast today, high clouds are expected to move in bringing partly cloudy skies.
Temperatures will remain in the upper 90s with occasional breezes. Haze from area wildfires will continue to move through portions of the region. High pressure will keep temperatures hot through the weekend with near-record highs by the end of the week.
