ABC-7 First Alert: Temps sizzle through Father’s Day weekend

An ABC-7 First Alert is in effect for dangerously hot temperatures this weekend, particularly on Sunday. We will see temperatures range from 103 to 107 degrees 🥵 .

This weekend will be another scorcher, with graduation celebrations and Father's Day on Sunday; you need to take necessary precautions if you're celebrating outdoors. The hottest temp we've seen so far at the El Paso Airport is 108 degrees. We've also seen 8 triple-digits so far this year.

Today will be another warm and dry day with southeast winds around 10 to 15 mph. Thunderstorm chances look best along the Gila region.
