East El Paso hit-and-run leaves 20-year-old pedestrian seriously injured
UPDATE #1, Jan. 23: Police say a driver struck a 20-year-old pedestrian in east El Paso and left the scene early Sunday morning.
According to authorities, the pedestrian had just left Mi Bar Cantina on Zaragoza Road when he was struck by a pick-up truck. He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police describe the driver as a Hispanic male driving a white, full-size pick-up truck.
Anyone with information on the identity of the driver is asked to call El Paso Police at 832-4400 or to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-8477(TIPS).
ORIGINAL STORY, Jan. 23: EL PASO, Texas -- A pedestrian is suffering life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car on El Paso's east side, first responders told ABC-7.
They say the collision happened around 2 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Zaragoza and Pellicano.
The pedestrian was taken to Del Sol Medical Center.
No other information was available at this time.
