Man seriously injured after car hits him before crashing into fence in west El Paso

EL PASO, Texas -- A pedestrian was struck by a car and seriously injured Thursday afternoon in west El Paso.

It happened about 4:30 p.m. at Rubin and Mangrum Circle.

The injured man was rushed in an ambulance to a hospital in serious condition.

It appeared the car that struck the man then crashed into a fence.

No further details were immediately available.
