ABC-7 First Alert: Widespread triple-digit days through the weekend

An ABC-7 First Alert is in effect for the first heatwave of the season. This afternoon we will see plenty of sunshine and above-average temperatures. The region will see widespread triple-digit heat with west winds at 10 to 20 mph. Wednesday will be the hottest day with potential record high temps around 105 degrees. This weekend will also be dangerously hot with temperatures ranging between 105 to 106 degrees.
