WATCH: Jan. 6th final June hearing, hearings to resume after July recess

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The House Jan. 6 Committee is holding their final hearing in the month of June. Chairman Bernie Thompson has stated that more hearings are to come after the July 4 recess, which is scheduled to end on July 11.

The committee has reportedly obtained more evidence and information that pertains to the Jan. 6 violence that erupted at the U.S. Capitol building in 2021. Some of the evidence includes British documentary footage of Trump and his family, as well as his aides. The footage was recorded before and after the 2020 election.

Thompson stated that the committee will formally announce dates and times of the upcoming July hearings "soon."
