Montana Vista residents evacuate after massive fire in Far East El Paso
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Residents living in the Montana Vista area have been asked to evacuate after a massive fire at a recycling plant fills their neighborhoods in smoke.
Residents ABC-7 spoke to say they were asked to evacuate at around 3 p.m. and have since been in their cars until they are allowed back in their homes.
Residents say they are tired of the fire in the area, “This is like the third or fourth time this happens, something needs to be done,” one El Pasoan told ABC-7.
