Juárez to date posted 474 confirmed virus cases, which amounts to the majority of the state's 760 total infections. Health leaders suggested the state's increase in new cases was a record; Juárez just a day prior had reported no new cases.

Across Mexico, there were 31,522 total cases and 3,160 deaths, officials said.
