No new virus deaths, 26 cases in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Department of Public Health reported did not report any new coronavirus-related deaths Thursday morning.

El Paso County's pandemic death toll remained at 2,620.

There are also 12 additional suspected Covid-19 deaths currently being investigated by the health department.

Health officials also announced 26 new cases.

El Paso health department data shows that 55.5% of El Pasoans 12 and older are now fully vaccinated, with 69.6% having received at least one dose.

The number of known active cases now stands at 754.

There are 66 Covid-19 patients in El Paso hospitals, with 23 of those patients in intensive care units.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 136,182 confirmed virus cases in El Paso with 132,719 reported recoveries.
