14 Units Respond To House Fire In The Upper Valley

EL PASO, Texas – Three fire fighters were treated for heat fatigue after they battled a house fire in the upper valley Friday.

The heat from the fire and the hot conditions outside were too much. The trio was treated at the scene and are expected to be fine.

The blaze destroyed the upper level of a home in the 6200 block of Viale Lungo. That is near Artcraft and Doniphan on the west bank of the Rio Grande.

No one was inside of the home during the blaze, so no one was injured. The home owners told ABC-7 they think an overheated computer may have caused the fire.

Damage is estimated at $75,000.
