Lueras Still In Police Custody Wednesday Morning
ALAMOGORDO, N.M. — Convicted axe murderer Albert Lueras was still in police custody as of 11:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Alamogordo police said.
Lueras remains jailed onno bond at theOtero County Detention Center.
Lueras was arrested Tuesday evening for violating a restraining order against his sister, Juliana Quezada. Officials said he should be arraigned within a day or two.
The misdemeanor carries a possible sentence of one year. A judge could also add certain constraints such as probation, mental evaluation orrestricting his movements.
