EMS Responding To Ysleta Port Of Entry, Gunshot Victims Arriving From Juarez

EL PASO — Emergency Medical Services (EMS) dispatch confirmed a gunshot victim was picked up at the Ysleta Port of Entry and rushed to Thomason Hospital.

According to dispatch, the victim was a 38-year-old woman that was shot in the foot.

Dispatch also said they requested El Paso police checkon anothervictim. They said more gunshot victims may be on the way because reports out of Juarez indicate a shooting took place near a crowd of people.

Our news partners at XHIJ Channel 44 in Juarez report an armed commando ambushed the funeral for a man who was killed execution-style earlier this week. According to them, two men and two women were injured at the funeral home.

It is located near the intersection of Sorgo and Manuel J. Clouthier, which is close to the Ysleta Port of Entry.
