Ruiz Family Thanks Community For New Home
EL PASO, Texas — Maria Ruiz says the kitchen is her favorite room in her new home just completed by Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
At a news conference Tuesday afternoon, the Ruiz family couldn’t share specifics about their new home other than there are a lot of special details.
But they did say how appreciative and thankful they are to the El Paso community.
UTEP athletics officials were at the news conference to donate football and basketball season tickets to the family. They also received gift certificates from Sears Portraits, Sears Optical, Truly Nolen pest control and even a scholarship to Park University.
The show will air March 15 on ABC-7.
