Sunland Park City Council Approves Sports Complex

SUNLAND PARK, N.M. — Sunland Park city leaders unanimously approved construction of a multimillion dollar sports complex at a meeting Tuesday night.

The new facility includes plans for new soccer and football fields, basketball and volleyball courts, a pool and a state-of-the-art skate plaza.

Part of the facility is funded through a state grand. City leaders have not set at timeline on construction just yet.
