3 Teens Arrested In Burglary Of Canutillo Business
CANUTILLO, Texas — Three teenagers were arrested for allegedly burglarizing a recycling business in Canutillo over the weekend, El Paso County Sheriff’s officials said.
The burglars allegedly stole 16 aluminum rims and tires, catalytic converters, cash and an iPod totaling $5,350 from G&N Auto Recycling at 7508 Doniphan, sheriff’s officials said.
Deputies determine that the suspects entered the business through an unsecure back door, and then forced open a second door inside the business.
Several hours after the burglary was reported, deputies found shoe impressions at the rear of the building and tracked them through a storage yard. The same tracks were found leading to the backyard of the home in the 300 block of Nube in Canutillo.
Four suspects were found, and deputies found that three of the four were involved in the burglary. Eighteen-year-old Miguel Angel Orozco, 17-year-old Marcos Antonio Reyes and a 14-year-old male were arrested and charged for burglary of building, sheriff’s officials said.
Orozco and Reyes were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under $5,000 bond and the 14-year-old was turned over to the Juvenile Probation Department.
