Windy Weather Safety Tips

1. Inspect your homes for items that can move, fall or break and fix or remove these items before strong winds hit.

2. Secure lawn furniture, outdoor decorations, trash cans, hanging plants and anything else that can create a hazard or blow away in high winds.

3. In high winds, blowing dust and sand may pick up reducing visibility on the roadways so slow down when driving and increase your following distance with the car in front you.

4. Do not attempt to remove any electrical wire that fall on your home or car. Instead call 911 for assistance.
