Hillary Floren: Viewers Curious About Morning Crew Shake-Up

By Good Morning El Paso Anchor Hillary Floren

Once again, our happy little morning team has been shaken up. Meteorologist Amber Sullins said goodbye to Good Morning El Paso on Friday, May 22nd. We aren’t the only ones sorry to see her go. Since that day, everywhere I go, people stop me on the street and ask me where Amber went.

“We want the truth,” they demand. “Don’t try to cover it up! Where is she going?”

The truth is we’re not covering anything up. Amber’s 4-year contract came to an end, and she is now looking into possibilities in other markets. She never planned on staying in El Paso once her contract ended. There are many potential jobs for a gal with her education and credentials, and we’ll let you know where she goes once she makes her decision. Meanwhile, she is still living in El Paso. You may even run in to her! I, for one, already miss her like crazy. Bob, Amber and I had some great times on the morning set, and we were happy to share them with you, the viewers.

You may remember Amber came to us right after she graduated from University of Arizona. Our new meteorologist, Jorge Torres, graduated from Texas A&M and moved to El Paso days later to learn the ropes of TV weather. We can’t wait to get our new team together! Stay tuned for more great things to come from Good Morning El Paso.
