NUMBER ONE CAMPAIGN FOCUS

I have a record that speaks for itself & reflects hard work, integrityand efficiency. I want to continue to move the docket as efficiently as I have for the last fourteen years.

WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM YOUR OPPONENT?

I am currently the Judge of County Court at Law #2 & am familiar with how the court works. I have 14 years of judicial experience overall.

Six out of the last ten years, the court has disposed of more cases than any other misdemeanor court. In the fourteen years I’ve been judge, none of my rulings have ever been reversed by the Court of Appeals. In addition, I have never had a complaint filed with the Judicial Commission. My record reflects hard work, integrity, efficiency & competence.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE THAT QUALIFIES YOU FOR THE POSITION YOU SEEK

I’ve been a licensed attorney for 22 years . I served as the Criminal Law Magistrate for 2 years prior to takingover as Judge of County Court at Law #2 in October 1998. Overall I have 14 years of judicial experience. I also have extensive judicial training.

DESCRIBE A MOMENT THAT CHANGED YOUR LIFE

What changed my life the most in my personal life, is when I accepted Jesus as my Savior. In my professional life, it would be when I became judge & realized the great responsibility I had taken on. It is a privilege to serve the community, but also a great responsibility. I believe we are looked upon as role models & must live our lives accordingly.
