El Paso Sheriff’s Office Investigates Canutillo Shooting
El Paso County Sheriff’s investigators are talking to several persons of interest in connection to a late night shooting in Canutillo that left a man wounded.
The shooting happened just after 9 p.m. Wedenesday on the 7300 block of Sixth Street. t
Deputies were responding to a ‘shots fired’ call when they found a man with a bullet wound to his upper thigh. The wounded man was rushed to a nearby hospital and he is expected to recover.
Officials said they are talking to several persons of interest but have yet to make an arrest. Once an arrest is made, the suspect — or suspects — will be facing aggravated assault charges.
