Store Clerk Stabbed In Downtown Robbery

El Paso Police Department said a robbery on Christmas ended with a store clerk being stabbed.

The robbery occurred around 10 p.m. Saturday at the Paisano Beverage Depot on Santa Fe Street and Paisano Drive in downtown El Paso.

Police said two men entered the store carrying a knife and stabbed a 54-year-old clerk after demanding money.

The two men, whom investigators only describe as Hispanic, made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.
