Miami QB Injures Ankle In Tuesday Practice

University of Miami freshman quarterback Stephen Morris suffered a left ankle injury at the start of team drills Tuesday morning, putting in doubt his availability for the Sun Bowl game against Notre Dame on Friday, according to a report in the Palm Beach Post.

Morris had to be helped off the field. Team trainers then attended to his ankle.

Interim coach Jeff Stoutland said earlier Tuesday he still hadn’t decided if the starting quarterback for the Sun Bowl would be Morris or Jacory Harris.
