Former UTEP Running Back Donald Buckram Released by Browns

Former UTEP running back Donald Buckram has been released by the Cleveland Browns.

According to his Facebook page, Buckram says he failed the team physical.

He says during the physical, he was told his knee was not stable.

An X-Ray showed arthritic buildup and the team did not want to risk putting him through training camp.

Buckram hurt his knee on a non-contact drill at the beginning of the 2010 season.

He only played 8 games.

The 5-foot-10, 195-pound back rushed for 1,594 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2009.

He says he hopes to land on another team.
