More Than Two Dozen Vehicles Vandalized Overnight

El Paso Police officials said more than two dozen vehicles were vandalized in East El Paso. Some neighbors woke up to officers knocking on their door, informing them of the vandalism.

Twenty five cars had their windows shattered or tires slashed overnight Saturday. Officers responded to the call at about 6 Saturday morning, on the streets David Forti, Stone Castle, Two Towers and Sal Berroteran Drive. The neighborhood is located between Saul Kleinfeld and Loop 375, north of Pebble Hills.

At last check, El Paso Police Spokesman Darrel Petry said officers were still looking for any suspects. Some residents had more than one car vandalized. Neighbors said investigators were searching for fingerprints Saturday morning.

“I’m pretty upset. I don’t find the humor in this, I don’t know what their intentions were and it’s uncalled for,” said one resident, who was changing his vehicle’s tire.

Petry said suspects can face criminal mischief charges. Anyone with information is urged to call CrimeS toppers at 915-566-8477. You can remain anonymous.
