McRollover: Drunken Driver Flips SUV In McDonald’s Parking Lot, Police Say

Two men are behind bars after a rollover crash in the parking lot of a Far East El Paso McDonald’s.

Police said the driver of a small SUV rolled over when he hit a curb while entering the McDonald’s parking lot.

The wreck happened at about 2:40 Friday morning near Loop 375 and Edgemere.

Police said the driver and passenger got out of the SUV and then tried to flip it right-side up. Both men ran away when their effort failed, police said.

Officers arrested them nearby and the driver will reportedly be charged with DWI.
