ABC-7 Forecast for Sunday, December 11 PM

The ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather Team is tracking the next upper level storm system that will bring showers and increased wind speeds to the Borderland. Monday will warm up to the very low 60’s with mostly cloudy skies and a 20% chance for showers in the afternoon and evening. Tuesday will be even warmer with highs in the mid to upper 60’s, mostly cloudy skies and a 30% chance for showers. The winds will pick up on Tuesday afternoon with gusts to about 45mph hour in the overnight hours into Wednesday. Wednesday will be another windy day with gusts to about 35mph. Also, expect cooler temps on Wednesday with highs in the mid 50’s and clearing skies throughout the day as the system exits the region. Temps will remain in the mid 50’s on Thursday with sunny skies and mid to upper 50’s by Friday with mostly clear skies. The next system that will affect our weather moves in next weekend bringing a 10% chance for showers to the Borderland, Saturday and Sunday. Expect highs in the low to mid 50’s on both days.
