Cold Temps & Light Snow Overnight Make Roads Slick

The computer model that handled the snow very well for us today has just come out, and it is indicating that we could see perhaps another inch later tonight and early tomorrow morning. There is no reason to doubt it, however, some other models are indicating just a bit heavier snow.

So, another inch expected in our area with temps getting very cold — low around 23. We will continue to see some breezes which will keep our wind chills in the teens and single digits at times.

Whatever is wet on the roadways will ice over tonight and so black ice will become an issue for those traveling into midday Saturday. Sun should break out around midday tomorrow as the storm will exit the region.

Dry and sunny with warming temperatures expected Christmas Sunday and most of next week.
